IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING - As with any electrical or electronic
equipment, care should be exercised to prevent fire and
shock hazard. The following information is provided to
give guidance in the safe use of your Hammond
Keyboard.
Read all of the instructions before using this product.
Do not use this product near water.
If water gets into the unit, disconnect the power cord plug
from the electrical outlet, and contact the store where the
unit was purchased.
As a precaution, do not place flower vases or other
containers which hold liquids on the top of this unit.
This product should be located so that its position does
not interfere with proper ventilation and should not be
placed near heat sources such as radiators or heat
registers.
Do not permit the ventilation holes to be covered by
curtains or any similar materials.
Allow at least 10cm of clearance between the edge of the
unit and a surface such as a wall to ensure proper
ventilation.
This product should be connected to a power source
only of the type as marked on the product. DC power
cannot be used.
The power-supply cord should be unplugged from the
outlet when left unused for a long period of time. When
disconnecting the power cord, do not pull on the cord,
but grasp it by the plug.
Never touch the power-supply cord with anything wet.
If the power-supply cord is scarred, partially cut or
broken, or has a bad contact, it may cause a fire or
serious electrical shock if used. NEVER use a damaged
power cord for any appliance. Also, the power cord
should never be forcibly bent.
This product may be capable of producing sound levels
that would cause permanent hearing loss. Do not
operate for a long period of time at a high volume level or
at a level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any
loss or ringing in the ears, you should consult an
audiologist.
Metal items inside the unit may result in electric shock or
damage. Do not permit metal articles inside the unit.
Be especially careful of this if children are near this unit.
They should be warned never to try to insert anything
inside the unit.
If, nevertheless, some foreign article does get inside,
disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet and
contact the store where the unit was purchased.
IF YOUR INSTRUMENT FAILS TO OPERATE:
1. Be sure your POWER ON/OFF switch is ON, and the
MASTER VOLUME is set to at least the half way point.
2. Be sure that at least one voice is selected ON.
3. Make sure headphones are not plugged in to the
headphone jack.
4. Make certain that the power cord is plugged in and the
“AC” wall receptacle is not faulty.
In the event that the instrument is still inoperable, your
Hammond Dealer is best qualified to provide competent
service.
THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE SERVICED BY QUALIFIED
SERVICE PERSONNEL WHEN:
A. The power-supply cord or plug has been damaged.
B. Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled, into
the product.
C. The product has been exposed to rain.
D. The product does not appear to operate normally or
exhibits a marked change in performance.
E. The product has been dropped or damaged.
Do not attempt to service this product. All servicing
should be referred to qualified service personnel.

APPLIANCE TO RAIN OR OTHER MOISTURE.
