Lugar de emplazamiento
El congelador debe situarse sobre una supercie sólida y plana. Si
el aparato se coloca sobre un pedestal, deberá utilizar materiales
lisos, rmes y resistentes al fuego. No utilice nunca el material
de embalaje de espuma como pedestal. Si la estabilidad del
congelador es ligeramente deciente, puede alargar o acortar las
patas ajustables del congelador. Para ello, gírelas hacia la derecha o
hacia la izquierda para aumentar o reducir la altura del congelador.
No coloque el congelador bajo la luz directa del sol ni en un lugar
donde esté expuesto a elevadas temperaturas para garantizar el rendimiento óptimo del mismo.
Instale el aparato en un lugar bien ventilado y deje un espacio de al menos 10 cm por encima y
alrededor del congelador.
No coloque nunca el congelador en una zona húmeda ni en una ubicación donde pueda salpicarle
agua. Limpie y seque cualquier mancha y salpicadura de agua con un paño suave para evitar la
oxidación.
No coloque el congelador en un lugar donde la temperatura sea demasiado baja (por debajo de
5
°C
). No coloque el congelador en zonas exteriores ni bajo la lluvia.
Preparación antes del uso
Saque todas piezas del embalaje, la base de espuma y la cinta adhesiva que sujeta los accesorios.
Coloque el congelador en el lugar adecuado (consulte el capítulo Lugar de emplazamiento).
Limpie el interior y el exterior del congelador antes de utilizarlo (consulte el capítulo
Descongelación y limpieza).
Después de nivelar y limpiar el aparato, déjelo en reposo durante al menos 6 horas antes de
conectarlo para garantizar un funcionamiento normal.
