Do you want to experiment further with
sensory adventures?
With the remaining six activity cards the procedure can be v aried and
enlarged. Just exchange the cards, thereby composing a different journey of
the senses.
Here it also applies that whoever is successful, gets a small marble which is
placed on one’s planet of the senses.
Touchmat
•The player who rolled the dice is ”Touchmat“. Everybody else closes
their eyes.
•Touchmat picks a wooden piece from the center, hides it in the pocket of
their trousers and puts the cloth over the rest.
•The other players can then open their eyes again. Touchmat passes the
wooden piece underneath the table to the player on their right, who
investigates its shape by touch. They may not look at it! Then they pass it
on, one by one.
• Once the piece comes back to the Touchmat, it’s hidden away in the
pocket again.
•They uncover one by one the round cards.
• Whoever sees the piece which they recognized before by touch, quickly
tries to put their hand on the open card.
Whoever succeeds gets a small marble. Important: you only get a marble
if it is the right card!
Ears of a lynx
• Watch out::
As in this variant the tins have to be filled up, this activity can not be
played at the same time as ”Small/Big weight-lifter“ or ”Hot & Cold“.
•You need the help of an adult:
Four different kinds of materials to fill the tins: paper clips, beads,
two erasers, rice, beans, peas or noodles,for example.
•Two tins are each filled with the same material and more or less the
same quantity.
• Close the tins, mix them up and get them ready.
•The player should then try to find the two tins with the same sound by
listening carefully.
•They can take the tins in any order and as many times as they w ant,
shake them and compare the sounds.
