The detective of the bell
The player who rolled the die is the bell detective and puts on the
blindfold.
The four bells are put in front of the detective and the players agree
silently on one bell and ring it.
The detective tries to memorize the sound of the bell. Then the bell is
returned to its place.
The detective takes off the blindfold and rings the four bells. Then he
points to which bell he thinks he has heard.
If he is right, he gets a wooden coin as a reward.
The bell interpr
eter
The player who rolled the die is the bell interpreter and puts on the
blindfold.
The other players silently agree who should ring the bell. Then they all
move randomly round the room, except of course the interpreter.
While doing so, the designated player rings the bell; when he stops then
all the players freeze where they are.
The bell interpreter should now point in the direction where he thinks
the ringer stands at that moment. He has just one guess. The other
players confirm if he was right or wrong.
If the interpreter pointed in the right direction he gets a wooden coin as
a reward.
The
Audio detective
The player who rolled the die is the audio detective. He takes a good
look at the 10 items and then puts on the blindfold.
The other players silently agree on an item. Then one player drops this
item from a distance of about 20 cm (8 inches) onto the game board
and then does so again, before returning it to its place.
The detective takes off the blindfold and indicates which item he thinks
has been dropped.
If he is right, he gets a wooden coin as a reward.
Which bell has been
rung?
Where is the ringer
standing?
Who can distinguish
the item dropped
onto the game
board?
