The zookeeper chooses a colored seal on the game board (for example
the red one), points with their finger at it and asks clearly:
“Red seal, red seal do you want a fish?”
• If the baby seal has chosen a tile of a different colored seal, it ans-
wers:
“Dear zookeeper, yes I fancy your fish!”
The zookeeper puts the fish through the mouth of that seal and closes
it as the seal now is no longer hungry.
Then it’s the turn of the next player to be the zookeeper and chooses
one of the remaining seals with the mouth still open.
Important, it can occur that in the same round a player is the zoo-
keeper various times.
• If however the baby seal had chosen exactly the tile of the corres-
ponding color, it answers:
“No, no, no – I don’t like this fish!”
As proof the baby seal uncovers the tile and the round ends.
At the end of the round the baby seal passes all the seal tiles to the next
player in a clockwise direction. They are now the new baby seal and
choose a tile and place it face down in front of them.
All mouths of the seals are opened again and a new round starts.
End of the Game
As soon as a player is left without fish, the game ends. With a loud clap-
ping of the flipper they are acclaimed as winner.
Gourmets’ Variation:
You also can play with various gourmets per round.
To do so the baby seal chooses at the beginning two or three seals and
places them face down in front of them.

2. No, no – I Don’t Like Fish!
For 2 - 4 little gourmets ages 4+.
Sometimes seals can be real gourmets. No matter how delicious a fish
looks there is always one seal that simply does not want to eat fish.
So you need good luck at feeding in order not to bump into this
“gourmet”.
Preparation of the Game
Assemble the bottom part, the game board and seal muzzles as in
game 1 “Feeding Time”.
Important! At the beginning all the mouths must be open.
Each player gets four fish. Get the seal tiles ready.
The die and remaining fish are kept in the lid of the box. They are not
needed in this variation.
How to Play
The player who has most recently seen a seal starts. If you cannot agree,
the smallest player starts and is the first baby seal.
The baby seal gets all four tiles, chooses one and places it face down in
front of him/her. The remaining three tiles are put aside, also face down.
The chosen seal is the little gourmet in this round and just doesn’t like
fish.
Important:
The other players may not see which tile the baby seal has chosen, nor
the other three tiles put aside.
The other players are the zookeepers and one by one try to guess which
three seals are the ones that like fish.
The following player, in a clockwise direction, is the first zookeeper.
