“Off you go on your
big treasure hunt!”
Play in a clockwise direction. The youngest pirate
starts, shakes the bottle and holds the bottle neck
downwards so that the balls roll into the bottle
neck. The order of the three balls furthest down in
the bottle neck shows the sea route of the pirate
ship. The colors of the balls each indicate a
direction.
According to the colored balls, move the pirate ship along
the cards.
Example. Yellow / red / red = East / north / north
“Watch out! If you move your ship past
the edge of a card, you place it immediatley on
the opposite side. Have a look at the illustration
how this is done.”
“No treasure hunting without
thorough preparation!”
• Select six duel cards. According to the color on the back
separate the six cards into two piles and leave them
ready.
• Place the compass card in the center and direct them with
the compass in the right direction. The red arrow of the
compass always points north.
• Shuffle the pirate and treasure cards and put them face
down in a pile.
• Take eight cards from the pile and form a square by
placing them around the compass card so that all the
cards with a red arrow point northwards. Place the pirate
ship on the compass card.
• Throw the eight pirate balls into the empty bottle and
close the bottle tight.
