The faces of the 36 tiles show:

Each player distributes the 36 tiles face-down on the 36 squares

of his game board without the opponent seeing. Start with the

ship tiles. The following rules apply:

• Only one tile is allowed on each square.

• Arrange the ship tiles in horizontal and vertical rows

(not diagonally). In the end you should have face-down

on your game board:

... two groups of three ship tiles,

... two groups of two ship tiles

... one single ship tile.

• The groups should be separated by at least one buoy tile.
