The pirates‘ duel

There will be a duel when your pirate reaches a card where

there are already other pirates. Those players now throw the

two wooden disks. If both disks show a ship, the player takes

a piece of treasure from the provisions. A duel lasts as long as

it takes for a player to make this lucky throw.

The player who has just rolled the die starts, takes both

disks into his fist and lets them drop onto the table.

How many ships appear on the disks?

• One ship or none?

Bad luck, sorry! It‘s the turn of the next player, in a clock-wise

direction, whose pirate also stands on the card. He takes both

disks and lets them drop on the table.

• Two ships?

Lucky pirate! This player wins the duel and takes a piece of

treasure from the provisions as a reward. Place it in front of you.

Watch out:

A duel can be over after the first throw

or it may last several rounds!

Then it‘s the turn of the next player

to roll the die and move his pirate.

End of the Game

The game ends as soon as a player has collected

five treasures thus winning the game.
