Habermaaß Game No. 4208
Doctor Hedgehog
A cooperation game for 2 – 5 helpful players ages 4 to 8, where there
can still be a winner.
Author of the game: Christoph Rotburg
Illustrations: Petra Probst
Length of the game: approx. 15 minutes
Dear Parents,
with this cooperative game children will learn that they can achieve a lot
more in a group than on their own. Instead of “one against all”, here it’s
a matter of “together we’re stronger”! Although the player who collects
the most fruit wins the game, he can only do so if all the others are busy
helping hedgehog - otherwise they all lose.
Daisy Dormouse has a cold and lies in bed. Robin Redbreast has an
injured wing and cannot feed himself. Fortunately, everyday their friend
Doctor Hedgehog brings them their favorite food - apples and pears so
that they may recover quickly. Will you help the hedgehog?
Contents:
1 Hedgehog with brush
18 apples
18 pears
3 bridges
2 baskets
1 game board
1 die with symbols
Aim of the game:
Who will be the most eager to gather apples & pears? The winner can
only be the one who also hands over some fruit to the helpful hedgehog
so that he can take food to his sickly animal friends. If cooperation does
not occur all the players lose together.
Preparation:
Lay out the game board in the middle of the table.
Put the hedgehog with the brush on the big hedgehog picture and one
basket each next to the den of the dormouse and the nest of the robin.
Place 16 of the 18 pears and apples on each of the corresponding trees.
Squeeze the remaining 2 apples and 2 pears into the brush of the
hedgehog. It is best to insert the stalks into the bristles so that they do not
fall out. And finally, plug the three bridges into the holes of the game
board and get the die ready.

Trostvers für kranke Kinder:
Heile, heile, Segen,
Drei Tage Regen,
Drei Tage Schnee:
– Raubtiere (Fuchs, Iltis, Uhu);
warmen Straße auf Insektenjagd gehen);
Winterschlaf an.
