Autunno
In autunno l’aria è più fresca. Le foglie degli alberi ingialliscono, poi
diventano arancioni o marrone e, prima o poi, cadono. Spesso tira
un forte vento, che solleva le foglie in un vortice. Molti frutti sono
ormai maturi e si possono raccogliere.
La coniglietta Cinzia, la volpe Vinicio, l’orsetto lavatore Ornella e il
riccio Rino vogliono aiutare a riempire il magazzino delle provviste
per l’inverno. Hanno indossato pullover, giacche e stivali di gomma
e, con il carretto e i cestini, sono andati nel grande frutteto
al campo delle zucche. Mentre la volpe Vinicio e il riccio Rino
caricano le zucche, la coniglietta Cinzia e l’orsetto lavatore Ornella
raccolgono da terra le mele riempiendo in un batter d’occhio il
grande cesto.
“Anche noi abbiamo finito”, grida Vinicio mentre attraversa il prato
per raggiungere le ragazze. Intanto passano davanti a un grosso
mucchio di foglie. La volpe Vinicio e il riccio Rino si guardano ed
entrambi hanno la stessa idea: “Facciamo una battaglia con le
foglie!”, grida Rino, e con un balzo salta nel mucchio di foglie,
mentre Vinicio lo segue a ruota. Tra risate e gridolini si lanciano le
foglie appassite.
Ma Ornella mette in guardia i due: “Il contadino
si arrabbierà di sicuro vedendo quello che state
combinando”. “Meglio smettere e venire con me a
far volare l’aquilone!” “Niente paura, Ornella, con il
rastrello ricomponiamo subito il mucchio di foglie!”
la rassicura Vinicio.
“Ma ci si diverte un mondo!”
La coniglietta Cinzia ha trovato dei funghi e questa sera vorrebbe
prepararci una minestra.
