Who has the corresponding animal?
The other players think whether they have the animal which matches the
clues. They hide the animal in their closed fist and extend the fist towards
the center of the table. The player who just described the animal does the
same: hiding the animal in their fist and extending it towards the center.
Important: even though a player is convinced that they don’t have the
corresponding animal, they have to choose one.
All players open their fists at the same time:
• Is there a player who has exactly the same animal as the one of the
player who gave the clues?
Both animals can be placed into the bottom of the box.
All other animals are placed back behind the screens.
• If none of the guessing players has the animal searched for in their
hand, all players place their animals back behind their screen.
Then it’s the turn of the next player to roll the die.
End of the game
As soon as the first player has returned their last animal, the game ends.
This player wins and is named “King of the animals”. If this applies to
two players, both win together.
More difficult variation
Preparation and way of playing are the same as in the basic game but
now you play with the red die.
It shows three more symbols.
• Describing the habitat of the animal.
Explain to the other players where the animal lives.
For example: it lives in a nest.
• Moving your hands.
Try to imitate with your fingers and hands the walk of the animal on
the table. You may not make sounds with your mouth - however
sounds that originate from knocking on the table for example are
allowed.
• Drawing with the finger.
Draw the outline of the chosen animal with your finger in the air.

Preparation
On page 16 you find the variation for 2 players.
Each player takes an animal picture and puts it in front of them so that
they can hide their animal behind it. Place all the animals in the center.
Important: If there are 3 players, one pair of animals is taken off the
game and kept in the box.
All players now take the same amount of animals.
• 3 players = 10 animals
• 4 players = 8 animals.
Important: no player may have two identical animals.
Get the yellow die ready.
The red die is only needed for the more difficult variation and put aside
for the moment.
How to play
Play in a clockwise direction.
The player who is best at trumpeting like an elephant may start. If you
can not agree, the youngest player starts and rolls the die.
The actions represented on the die show which kind of hint you may
give referring to your animal. First take a look at the type of action and
then decide which animal to choose. Then carry out the action.
• Moving your body.
Imitate a typical movement or habit of the chosen animal. Doing so
you may not talk or make a noise.
• Making sounds.
Try to imitate the sound which describes your animal particularly well.
• Describing the animal.
Describe the animal without naming it, but you must talk in complete
sentences.
For example: It is big and grey. It lives in Africa.
