COMPENSAZIONE DI TEMPERATURA 1 TAPPA = 50 AMPERE DI AVVIAMENTO
TEMPERATURA DELLA BATTERIA +20˚F 0˚F -20˚F
DIMINUIRE LA CAPACITÀ DELLA BATTERIA DI 1 TAPPA 2 TAPPE 3 TAPPE
Se la carica indica che lo stato della batteria non è sod-
disfacente, lasciare che la batteria si stabilizzi durante
qualche minuto, e vericare la tensione del circuito
aperto. È un buon modo di misurare la percentuale
della carica della batteria. La batteria è considerata
carica se la misura è di almeno 75%. Se fallisce la
prova di carica con una carica di 75%, bisogna sosti-
tuirla. Se la carica della batteria è inferiore a 75%, essa
dev’essere ricaricata e testata. Sostituire la batteria se
fallisce ancora. I valori della tabella sottostante sono
per una batteria da 12 volt; dividerla per due per le
batterie da 6 volt.

TESTARE IL SISTEMA DI CARICA
1. Collegare l’indicatore come per testare la batteria.
2. Avviare il motore e lasciarlo raggiungere la temperatura di servizio normale.
3. Far girare il motore fra 1200 e 1500 tr/mn. ATTENZIONE: Rimanere a distanza delle parti
mobili del motore. Non premere l’interruttore di carica.
4. Leggere l’indicatore. Una lettura nella striscia rossa indica un problema a livello del sistema
di carica che non caricherà a sufcientemente la batteria. Se l’indicatore è al di là della zona OK, il
sistema di carica sovraccaricherà la batteria.
TESTARE IL SISTEMA DI CARICA
Questa prova identica la tiratura di corrente si avviamento eccessivo, il che rende l’avviamento
difcile e riduce la durata di vita della batteria. Fare una prova di carica della batteria. Proseguire se
la batteria è in buone condizioni.
IL MOTORE DEVE ESSERE ALLA TEMPERATURA DI SERVIZIO NORMALE
1. Collegare il morsetto negativo (nero) al supporto della batteria negatico (NEG.,N,-). Collegare
il morsetto positivo (rosso) al supporto della batteria positivo (POS.,P,+). Scambiare i morsetti ante-
riori con i posteriori per assicurarsi del corretto collegamento elettrico.
2. Disattivare l’accensione del sistema in modo che la macchina non si avvii.
3. Avviare il motore e prendere nota della lettura della tensione durante l’avviamento.
4. Una lettura di 9 volt o meno indica un tiraggio di corrente eccessivo, il che potrebbe essere
dovuto a delle cattive connessioni oppure ad un motore di avviamento difettoso, o ad una batteria
che sia troppo piccola per le necessità del veicolo.
