Temperature of the fluid to be pumped should not exceed +35° C. If extension cables are use they should be only of rubber type
H07RNF + H05RNF, according to standards DIN 57282 or DIN 57245. Never pull or hold the pump connected to the mains by the
cable. Mind that the socket should be kept away of water and moisture for the plug to be protected.
Before putting the pump in operation check the electric cable and/or the plug for damage. .
Unplug the pump before doing any work on it.
If the pump is built in a gully hole, the hole should be covered up after completion of the job in order to ensure the safety of
pedestrians.
The owner (user) should take appropriate safety measures (alarm installation, stand-by pump etc.) in order to prevent
damages (flooded space etc.) resulting from aggravated operations of the pump (faults or defects).
If the pump is found defective, the repair shall be done by an authorised servicing facility only. Only genuine spare parts should
be used.
Please note that according to effective standards, we shall not be held liable for any damage caused by our units if anything
indicated below applies:
Inappropriate repairs done by other than authorised servicing facilities
Non-observation of determination or use other than in compliance with the determination ;
Pump overloading in result of continuous operation;
Damages caused by frost and other weather effects;
Never expose the pump motor to weather effects or have it immersed in water (if outdoors, cover up the unit or keep
it at a protected place).
Same regulations apply to the accessories.
Connecting Cable
Subject to a specific type, the pumps are equipped with a 10-m cable H07RNF
Overheating Thermal Fuse
Inside the motor, there is a probe fitted that will switch the pump off on exceeding certain temperature automatically and will switch it
on again after the unit cooled down. That will multiply the service life of the unit and the motor burning is prevented.
Overheating Fuse/ Thermal Protection Motor Circuit Breaker
A motor thermal breaker is fitted on the pump. If the motor gets overheated, the breaker will switch the pump off automatically. Cooling
time is 25 minutes, afterwards, the pump will go on automatically. If the breaker switches, it is essential to find and remove the cause
(see also Faults seeking) The data indicated in this context should not be regarded instructions for home-made repairs as the repairs
require specific expert knowledge. Always consult a customer servicing centre at any faults.
