4) Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct po-
wer tool for your application. Thecorrect power
t
ool will do the job better and safer at the rate for
which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not
turn it on and o. Any power toolthat cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must
be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source
and/or the battery pack from thepower tool
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storingpower tools. Such pre-
ventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting
the po
wertool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of child-
ren and do not allow personsunfamiliar with
the p
ower tool or these instructions to operate
the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the
hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or
binding of moving parts,breakage of parts and
any other condition that may aect the power
tool’soperation. If damaged, have the power
tool repaired before use. Many accidentsare
caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharpcutting edges
are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits
etc. in accordance with theseinstructions,
taking into account the working conditions and
the work to beperformed. Use of the power
tool for operations dierent from those intended
couldresult in a hazardous situation.
5) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualied
repair person using only identicalreplacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.

Brushes must not be tted to machines whose speed
exceeds the maximum permitted brush speed.
Do not use damaged brushes.
Rust discoloration or other signs of chemical or
mechanical change to the brush material can cause
premature failure of the brush.
Bushes must be stored in suitable stands, containers
or boxes in such a way that they are protected from
the following eects:
• High air humidity, heat, water or other uids that
could cause damage to the brush
• Acids or acidic fumes that could cause damage
• Temperatures that are so low that they could cause
condensation to form on the brushes when taken
out of storage into an area with higher tempera
-
tures

Operation is only allowed with a safety
switch against stray current (RCD max. stray
current of 30mA).
Connect only to single-phase AC system voltage as
indicated on the rating plate. It is also possible to
connect to sockets without an earthing contact as
the design conforms to safety class II. Only plug-in
when machine is switched o.
Maintenance
Unplug the machine before any work on it.
The appliance must not be used if damaged or safety
equipment is defective. Replace any worn-out and
damaged parts.
Caution! If the power cord of the appliance gets
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or its customer service or a similarly qualied person
to avoid danger.
Repairs and works specied in these Instructions may
only be performed by qualied authorised sta.
Use only original accessories and original spare parts.
Keep the device, in particular the air vents, clean at all
times. Never spray water on the device body!
Do not clean the plastics with solvents, ammable or
toxic uids. For cleaning, use a damp cloth only.
Apply environment-friendly oil to all moving parts.
Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance
can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insucient mainte

nance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and
injur
ies.
