Before operating the equipment, please read carefully the
following instructions, and observe them while using the
equipment.
Keep the Safety Instructions for your future reference!
The FOS is not suitable for collection of fruit designated for
direct consumption.
Safety Rules
Keep the work place neat and clean!
Check the area for stones and other objects that could
damage the spikes.
Keep bystanders in a safe distance!
Never allow people and especially children to touch the
tool. Keep them in a safe distance from the area in which
you are working.
Store your tools properly!
Tools not in use should be stored in a dry place, locked,
and out of children's reach.
Use correct tools!
Do not use low-capacity machines for heavy tasks. Do not
use the equipment for other than the intended purposes.
Wear suitable work clothes!
Do not wear any loose items of clothing or jewellery that
may be entangled in the machine moving parts. We
recommend that antiskid shoes should be worn for work
outside. Long hair should be protected by a hair net.
Avoid abnormal body postures!
Make sure your stability is good. Keep a good balance at
all times.
Take good care of tools!
Keep tools properly sharpened and clean to achieve better
results and to make your work safer.
Observe all the rules for maintenance and the tool
replacement instructions.
Be diligent!
Concentrate on what you are doing. Approach your work
deliberately. Do not use the machine when you are tired

Before you start using the equipment, check thoroughly its
protective devices and the slightly damaged parts to
ascertain, whether their functioning remains faultless and
corresponds to the machine's intended purpose.
Check the machine moving parts for any damage and
jamming; make sure they function faultlessly. It is essential
to make sure that all the components are mounted
correctly and that they meet all the requirements and
conditions ensuring smooth functioning.
Any damaged protective devices and damaged parts must
be repaired expertly in an authorized workroom or
replaced, unless directed otherwise in the Operating
Instructions.

improving technical properties of the product
without a prior notification, and it can occur
that such changes have not yet been
incorporated in the Operating Instructions.
Before operating the machine, check its
completeness, functionality and tightness!
Check that all bolts are properly tightened up.
Never start the equipment that is defective or
non-functional! Contact the manufacturer or
have the equipment checked by a qualified
mechanic.
Never put your hands in the spiked drum
during operation!
Always work deliberately and with due care!
Never use excessive force while working!
When moving backwards, make sure you do
not step into the operating area of the spike
drum.
