Keep children and other persons including animals in a
safe distance when using the appliance. Minimum safe
distance is 5 m.
Wear personal protective equipment. Wear solid shoes
and long trousers. Never use the appliance when
barefooted or in light sandals. Wear protective gloves if
necessary.
Carefully check the terrain where the appliance is going
to be used and remove all objects that could get caught
or thrown o by the appliance such as stones, branches,
wires, animals, etc.
Avoid operating the equipment in wet grass, where

Before using, always visually inspect to see that
the blades, blade bolts and cutter assembly are not
blunt, worn or damaged. Replace worn or damaged
blades and bolts in sets to preserve balance;

prohibited to attach any protective equipment of
other manufacturers.

changing travelling direction on slopes.

or when being outside a grass area. Wait until all rotating
parts have stopped.
If an undesirable item is encountered or the appliance
starts vibrating, the appliance must be switched o.
Check whether the appliance is not damaged. Repair
any damage.
Switch the appliance immediately o after nishing
your work.

4) Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct po

tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for
which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not
turn it on and o. Any power toolthat cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must

e) Treat electric tools carefully. Check whether the
moving parts work perfectly and do not drag,
whether not broken or damaged to such an
extent that functioning of electric tools could
be aected. Have any damaged parts repaired
before using the machine. Many accidentsare
caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharpcutting edges
are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits
etc. in accordance with theseinstructions,
taking into account the working conditions and
the work to beperformed. Use of the power
tool for operations dierent from those intended
couldresult in a hazardous situation.
5) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualied
repair person using only identicalreplacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.
