Caution!

Pieces of wood cut at the right angle to be split

Diagonally cut pieces of wood may slip when

cutting!

This may cause personal injury or damage to the

splitter knife especially when using the gap

extension by wedge!

Requirements for operating sta 

The operating sta must carefully read the Opera-

tingInstructions before using the appliance.

Quali cation: Apart from the detailed instructions

by aprofessional, no special quali cation is necessa-

ry forappliance using.

Minimum age: Persons over 18 years of age can

only workon the appliance.An exception includes

youngsters trained in order to reachknowledge

under supervision of the trainer duringoccupational

education.

Training:

Using the appliance only requires

correspondingtraining by a professional or the

Operating Instructions. Nospecial training is

necessary.

Emergency procedure

Danger of burns !

Some parts of the appliance get too hot when the

appliance is operated. Do not touch any hot parts,

e.g. engine and mu er.

Conduct a  rst-aid procedure adequate to the injury

and summon quali ed medical attendance as quickly

as possible. Protect the injured person from further

harm and calm them down. For the sake of eventual

accident, inaccordance with DIN13164, a workplace

has to be  ttedwith a  rst-aid kit. It isessential to

replace any usedmaterial in the  rst-aid kitimmedia-

tely after it has been used.

If you seek help,state the following pieces ofinfor-

mation:

1. Accident site

2. Accident type

3. Number of injured persons

4. Injury type(s)

Maintenance

Switch the engine o and remove the

socket plug before any work on the engine.

Wait until all rotating parts have stopped

and the appliance has cooled down.

Keep the unit clean at all times, especially around the

tank and engine.

Apply environment-friendly oil to all moving parts.

Refer all servicing to quali ed service personnel.

Carry out a visual inspection before any use to make

sure the appliance, especially the cutting tools,

fastening parts and the entire cutting unit are not

damaged.

The appliance must not be used if damaged or safety

equipment is defective. Replace any worn-out and

damaged parts.

The hydraulic hoses and connections must be che-

cked if tight enough after app. 4 hours of operation

and tightened if necessary.

If the device is defective, the repair has to be made

exclusively by the customer service.

Use only original accessories and original spare parts.

Never clean the machine and its components with

solvents,  ammable or toxic liquids. Us only a damp

cloth making.

Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance

can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insu cient mainte-

nance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and

injuries.
