1. Charging the battery

The LED indication ( C ) ashes red and you will hear a sound notication when the battery is in need of

power. We recommend you to stop immediately with driving the Wheeler and charge the battery. When the

battery is almost empty, it is possible that there is insufcient energy to drive normally. The device will lift

up the chassis during the driving to prevent you from driving it. If you keep on driving, you can fall much

faster and this can also compromise the future use of the battery.

To charge the battery, make sure that the charging port and the charging surroundings are dry.

Insert the charger in a power socket (100 ~240V), wait for the green LED to light up and insert the battery

charger into the charging port on your Wheeler.

The device is properly charging when the LED on the battery charger is red. If the Wheeler is active, the orange

LEDs on top of the Wheeler will light up for 10 minutes. If this is not the case, repeat the previous steps.

The battery is fully charged when the LED on the battery charger goes from red to green. To guarantee safety,

the battery will stop charging. Charging takes about 2.5h maximum. Remove the connection between the

Wheeler and the charger rst, secondly the connection between the charger and the power socket.

Note: While charging the battery it is normal that the adapter feels warm.

Only charge the wheeler during daytime or when you can attend the charging. Make sure that you do no

to overcharge the battery. This can strongly inuence the lifespan of your battery and in extreme cases

might lead to defects. The lifespan of the battery will decrease after intense usage, this is normal and is

not a defect.

Do not use the Wheeler anymore when it feels exceptionally warm, secretes a scent or when there is uid

leaking. You are urged to only use a Guardo battery-pack in the Wheeler, like the included battery, made with

original LG CORE cells with extra protection.

Familiarize yourself with the laws for usage, transportation and recycling of Lithium-Ion batteries.

NOTE: You can optionally obtain extra, easy to replace batteries (e.g. for long distances) on www.guardo.be

2. Using the remote control

The Guardo Wheeler BW650 comes with a remote with wich you can turn the device ON/OFF. You can use

the remote control up to 10m from the device because of the Radio frequency.

To turn the device ON, press: UNLOCK (K)

To lock the device, press: LOCK (J)

You can also set the Speed mode on the remote control. For beginners or children, you can decrease the

reaction-intensity in curves by shortly pressing the Speedmode-button (M). When you start or restart the

Wheeler, the Speed mode is automatically again set for advanced speed and sensitive reaction for curves.

Press (L) to hear a warning signal and to alert other drivers, pedestrians, etc.
