service in FM range (RDS l, RDS ll, RDS lll).
Programme types
The programme types a radio station offers
change according to the programme being
broadcast.
NO PTY No programme type identifier
NEWS News and current events
AFFAIRS Politics and current affairs
INFO Special talk programme
(e.g., consumers´ magazine)
SPORT
Sport programme
EDUCATE Learning and further education
DRAMA Radio plays and literature
CULTURE Culture, church and society
SCIENCE Science
VARIED Talk entertainment
POP Pop music (hits)
ROCK M Rock music
M.O.R. M Light music
LIGHT M Light classical music
CLASSICS Serious classical music
OTHER M Music programmes that cannot be
categorised (e.g., Folklore)

1.Switching on the PTY function
Press the

last selected programme type is in display.

goes to the next station which is offering the
selected programme type;

programme type is in the display.
3.Start or continue PTY search
Briefly press the

button:
PTY search goes to the next station that is
offering the selected programme type;
>PTY …< in the display.
During the PTY search you can switch to
another programme type using the
memory buttons.
If no station is offering your selected
programme type, you will hear the last
station that was tuned in.
