Cassette (TAPE)

í Please always eject the cassette by pres-

sing the

“

button before switching

off the radio. This will save the cassette.

Activating cassette mode

Insert a cassette into the cassette compart-

ment.

The display will indicate ”TAPE”.

Fast forward

Press the

“

button halfway in.

“WIND” appears in the display.

ǺǺ While a cassette is wound forward, you can

listen to the radio or play a CD. For this,

press the

¢¢

RADIO or

¢¢

CD/TAPE button.

At tape end, radio or cassette mode is started

automatically. If this is the case, turn over or

eject the cassette.

Terminating fast forward wind

Slightly press the

button.

Terminating cassette play

Press the

“

button until the cassette is

ejected.

General notes

ǺǺ The unit is optimized for CR (chromium

dioxide) cassettes.

ǺǺ With traffic radio (TP) activated, cassette

play will be interrupted during traffic

announcements.

To abort a traffic announcement:

briefly press the

TP button.

Fast forward of cassette;

cassette ejection.
