The car radio can be switched on and off in

several ways.

1. Press the

button.

2. Switching on and off with the ignition/star-

ter switch of the vehicle.

For this, the car radio must be switched on

once with the ignition turned on. Then the

radio is automatically switched on and off

with the ignition.

ǺǺ This function can be altered in the EXPERT

control level , see page 16, EXPERT

3. If you wish to switch on the car radio after

switching off with the ignition/starter

switch of the vehicle

press the

button.

ǺǺ If you now leave the ignition/starter switch

in its off position, the car radio is automati-

cally switched off after 1 hour, see also

page 20/A4.

It is possible to switch the car radio off at any

time by pressing the

button.

It is also possible to switch it on repeatedly.

í When switching on the car radio, the

automatic aerial will automatically be

extended!

For this reason, always switch off the car

radio before visiting a car wash!
