Installation Material and Accessories
For the parts required for installation and the
available accessories ask your specialized
dealer.
Inserting the Mounting Frame

– Insert the mounting frame b into the
vehicle´s cut-out a.
– Bend the tabs c behind the cut-out a as
required (depending on the type of vehicle).
Connecting the Aerial

– Fix the aerial adapter (Fig.
o) or the aerial
cable (Fig.
p) in the plastic holder.

A4 +12 V standby voltage
Connect to terminal 30 of the vehicle if you
wish to switch on/off the car radio via the
ignition lock (for this, see contact blade A7).

+12 V control voltage, 1 A max.
Drive voltage for an automatic aerial (exten-
sion and retraction), power amplifier (on/off)
etc., and operating voltage for an aerial ampli-
fier.
A7 +12 V operating voltage
If you wish to switch the car radio on/off via
the ignition lock*:
Connect the contact blade A7 to the terminal
15 of the vehicle. The contact blade A4 then
must be connected to the terminal 30.
If you do not wish to connect the car radio via
the ignition lock:
Connect the contact blade A7 to the terminal
30 of the vehicle.
A8 negative (–) operating voltage
Connect to terminal 31 (earth) of the vehicle.
Loudspeakers
Contact blades B 1 to B 8.

ching on/off via the ignition lock is not pos-
sible.
Under no cirumstances connect the contact
blade A7 to the S-contact (PIN 4 of supply
plug – brown/red lead) of the vehicle.
