RDS-zenderservice en zendertypes (PTY)
RDS (Radio-Data-System) is een informatiesysteem, waarvan de signalen door
de meeste FM (ultrakortegolf)-zenders worden uitgezonden. Ontvangt de instal-
latie een RDS-zender, dan verschijnt op het display de zendernaam, bijvoor-
beeld »ANTENNE« en »RDS«. Indien RDS-zenders ook extra informatie zoals
radiotekst of verkeersinformatie aanbieden, dan verschijnt er op het display
»RT« en »TA«.
Zendertypes (PTY)
Veel RDS-zenders koppelen het actuele zendprogramma aan een identificatie
van het zendertype (PTY). Als er een RDS-zender ontvangen wordt, kan het zen-
dertype kort op het display worden opgeroepen.
1 Gewenste RDS-zender met »

« op de afstandsbediening stap
voor stap kiezen;
of
gewenste RDS-zender met »1...0« op de afstandsbediening direct selecteren.
2 Om het zendertype op te roepen drie keer »DISPLAY« op de afstandsbe-
diening indrukken.
– Het desbetreffende zendertype wordt kort weergegeven.
Aanwijzing:
Als er geen zendertype-identificatie wordt uitgezonden, verschijnt er op het
display kort »NO PTY« (geen identificatie).
Zendertypes zoeken
1 Om het actuele zendertype op te roepen drie keer »DISPLAY« op de
afstandsbediening indrukken.
2 Kies het gewenste zendertype met »TUNING ŃĽ« op de installatie.
