Grinding coffee
The coffee grinder is suitable for grinding hard foods,
like coffee beans and nuts.
1 Set the motor unit

on a clean, level surface
near a suitable power outlet.
2 Fill the coffee grinder container

3 Place the coffee grinder at-
tachment

like a lid on
the filled coffee grinder
container and turn it until it
audibly locks. Pay attention
to the locking symbols at the
bottom of the coffee grinder
attachment.

4 Place the coffee grinder attachment

container on the motor unit

. Turn the attach-
ment until the arrow is pointing at the symbol
.
Check to make sure the attachment is properly
connected to the motor unit.
5 Insert the power plug into the wall socket.
Note
Do not use the appliance for longer than two
minutes at a time. Wait until the food processor has
cooled down to room temperature before you use
it again.
6 Remove the coffee grinder attachment

8 Disconnect the power plug from the wall socket.

Squeezing citrus fruits
1 Set the motor unit

. Check to make sure the
container is properly connected to the motor unit.
3 Put the filter

onto the juice container

4 Insert the drive shaft for the juicer

into the slot
in the middle of the filter.
5 Put the pressing cone

drive shaft

6 Attach the large cone

flush with the small press-
ing cone for large fruit (e.g. grapefruit). The large
cone

may be omitted for small fruits such as
lemons.
7 Clean all citrus fruits well and cut them in half
before extracting their juices.
Note
This device is designed to be used on citrus fruits
such as oranges, lemons and grapefruit. For all
other foods, use a separate juice extractor de-
signed for those foods.
8 Insert the power plug into the wall socket.
9 Press the fruit with one hand lightly onto the press-
ing cone. Set the variable speed adjuster to the
desired speed for 15 seconds at a time.
Notes
The juice now begins to flow into the juice con-
tainer

. Fibres, pulp and seeds will be collected
in the filter

Empty the filter

frequently to prevent it from
clogging up.
Make sure that the juice container does not over-
flow during operation. The maximum filling quan-
tity is 1500 ml and is indicated on the container.
Do not take the juice container

off of the motor
unit during operation.
10 Disconnect the power plug from the wall socket.
Note
Locking symbols indicate the direction in which the
parts click into place or are to be removed.
