IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The »EURO AV 1 TV« and »EURO AV 2 VCR« sockets
The two EURO-AV sockets are located on the back of the satellite receiver.
The satellite receiver emits via the two EURO-AV sockets »EURO AV 1 TV« and
»EURO AV 2 VCR « the video and audio signals received via the satellite
antenna.
1 Switch the satellite receiver on using the »
Ǽ
« button on its front panel or
on
the remote control.
»SAT« mode:
This is the mode provided for the reception of satellite services. The satellite
receiver emits the video and audio signals.
At Pin
8 of the sockets »EURO AV 1 TV« and »EURO AV 2 VCR «
of the satellite receiver, a switching voltage is emitted.
The video and audio signals of the received satellite channel are passed via the
»EURO AV 1 TV« socket to the TV set.
»TV« mode:
Normal TV mode; the TV set emits the video and audio signals.
At Pin 8 of the »EURO AV 1 TV« socket of the satellite receiver, no switching
volta
ge is emitted.
»VCR« mode:
If a video recorder is connected to the »EURO AV 2 VCR « socket of the
satellite receiver, the video and audio signals from the video recorder are
automatically passed via the »EURO AV 2 TV « socket of the satellite
receiver to the TV set when playing a video recording.
At Pin
8 of the »EURO AV 2 VCR « socket of the satellite receiver, no swit-
ching voltage is emitted.
Attention!
When the satellite receiver is in menu mode, the current menu displayis
also recorded when recording a satellite programme.
