Verkeersmeldingen

Sommige RDS-zenders zenden ook verkeersinformatie uit. Wordt er een derge-

lijke zender ontvangen, dan verschijnt op het display het teken »q«.

De EON (Enhanced Other Network)-functie is een extra RDS-service waarmee

naar een zender met verkeersmeldingen omgeschakeld wordt.

1 Druk bij ontvangst van een RDS-zender op »TRAFFIC« op de afstandsbe-

diening.

– Display: »

q«. Worden er geen verkeersboodschappen uitgezonden,

dan verschijnt »NO TA«.

– Tijdens een verkeersmelding knippert »q« en het volume wordt een beet-

je verhoogd.

– Als de zender over EON beschikt, dan verschijnt op het display ook

»EON«.

– Biedt de actuele zender geen verkeersmeldingen, dan schakelt EON auto-

matisch naar de verkeersmeldingen van een andere zender van dezelfde

omroep. Na de verkeersmelding wordt de actuele zender opnieuw inge-

schakeld.

2 Om de functie te beëindigen »TRAFFIC« op de afstandsbediening indruk-

ken.

q« en »EON« gaan uit.
