Wat is TeleWeb?

TeleWeb is een nieuwe informatiedienst voor de analoge televisie die zoals

teletekst uitgezonden wordt. Hierbij worden speciaal voor de weergave op het

televisietoestel geoptimaliseerde HTML-pagina’s (zoals internetpagina’s) door

een redactie ter beschikking gesteld, uitgezonden en in het televisietoestel

opgeslagen.

Het verschil met teletekst ligt in de omvangrijkere grafieken, afbeeldingen, ver-

schillende tekstformaten en animaties. Zogenaamde links verbinden de pagina’s

met elkaar.

De TeleWeb-browser haalt de weer te geven pagina’s uit het TeleWeb-geheugen

van het televisietoestel.

Wie biedt TeleWeb aan?

Sommige zenders, zoals bijvoorbeeld ARD, Phoenix, Kabel 1, 3Sat, VIVA,

bieden Teleweb aan.

Zo functioneert Teleweb

De TeleWeb-informatie wordt ”ingelezen” als u de zenderplaats van de zender

gekozen hebt.

Om alle informatie in het televisietoestel over te nemen, is ca. 1 uur tijd nodig.

Als u geen interesse hebt voor TeleWeb, dan kunt u TeleWeb in het menu »Installa-

tie« onder het punt »TeleWeb« uitschakelen. Hierdoor wordt meer geheugenplaats

voor de teletekst vrijgegeven.
