Das Navigationssystem kann bei extremen Temperaturen ein von der normalen
Funktion abweichendes Verhalten zeigen. Falls dies geschieht, sollten Sie das
System abschalten und warten, bis sich die Temperatur normalisiert hat.
Feuchtigkeit
Feuchtigkeit kann in der Zentraleinheit kondensieren und zu Fehlfunktionen
führen. Diese Erscheinung kann an sehr regnerischen oder nebligen Tagen
auftreten. Entnehmen Sie in diesem Fall die Daten-CD aus der Zentraleinheit und
warten Sie, bis die Feuchtigkeit verdunstet ist (ca. 1 Std.).
Erschütterungen
Starke Erschütterungen können – wie bei jedem CD-System – zu Fehlfunktionen
führen. Das System wird wieder korrekt arbeiten, wenn die Erschütterungen
aufhören. Installieren Sie die Zentraleinheit so, wie in der Einbauanleitung
beschrieben.
Reinigung
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen der Komponenten einen sauberen, fusselfreien
und trockenen Lappen. Verwenden Sie auf gar keinen Fall chemische Reini-
gungsmittel, die die Oberfläche angreifen könnten. Dies gilt insbesondere für
die CD-ROM und den Monitor.
Lesbarkeit des Monitors
Bei direkter Sonnenlichteinstrahlung kann die Lesbarkeit des Monitors beein-
trächtigt werden. In solchen Fällen sollten Sie die Einstrahlung abschirmen.
Die beste Blickrichtung auf den Monitor ist direkt von vorne bis zu einem Winkel
von ± 30° horizontal bzw. vertikal.
