No settings are necessary for operating the DVD unit of the tele-
vision set.
However, in the menu, you can change the language, select sound
effects, select the picture format and make many other settings.
Selecting the menu
1 Press »DVD SETUP« to open the menu.
– The menu appears.
2 Select the menu with »
Ǹ
« or »
Ƿ
« and press »OK« to activate.
– The selected menu item is highlighted.
3 Select the item with »P+« or »P-« and press »OK« to confirm.
– The setting options are displayed.
4 Select the function or setting using »P+« or »P-« and press
»OK« to confirm.
Note:
Press »P+« to go back one step in the menu items.
5 Press »DVD SETUP« to quit the menu.
Menu options
Voice
– Player Language: Select the on-screen menu “language”.
– Subtitle: Select and display subtitles.
– Audio Language: Select the dubbing “language”.
– Menu Language: Select the language of the DVD menus.
– Display Function: Switch function displays (e.g.
II
Pause)
on/off.
– External Subtitle: Select the language group (character set)
for additional subtitles on DivX

Picture menu
– TV Format: Set the picture format (4:3 PS (PanScan),
4:3 LB (Letterbox), 16:9).
– TV Standard: Select the TV standard (NTSC, PAL, Auto).
– JPEG View: Select the display of JPEG pictures (Origi-
nal, Screen size).
– JPEG Interval: Select the display time of JPEG pictures
(5, 10, 15 seconds).
– Last Memory: Switch on/off.
