Unlocking and locking the satellite receiver
You may enter a password to protect certain menu settings of the satellite
receiver against unauthorized use.
For calling up the »Parental Control« menu it is necessary to always enter the
password.
The contents or individual passages of certain programs are not suited for
children. Several broadcasters mark these programs with an age limit.
You then may decide whether or not these programs are locked or unlocked.
Note
At the factory the parental lock is activated!
The factory password is »0 0 0 0 «.
1 Call up the »Main Menu« using the »

« button.
2 Select the »System Parameters« row using the »
,,..
« buttons then press
the »OK« button.
– The »System Parameters« menu appears on the picture screen.
3 Select the »Parental Control« row using the »
,,..
« button then press
the »OK« button.
– The »PASSWORD« window appears on the picture screen.
4 Enter »0 0 0 0 « (= factory password) using the numeric button »0 «.
– In the case of incorrect entries, the following message appears briefly on
the picture screen:
Mismatch ! Try again
– The »Parental Control« menu appears on the picture screen.
5 Select the »Age Limit« row using the »
,,..
« buttons then select »None,
8, 12, 15 or 18« (years) using the »

« buttons.
