Time shift – watching a current television
programme with a delay
When you switch on the digital recorder, the current programme
that you see on the television screen is recorded in the time shift
memory.
This is provided that the »Time shift« function has been activated in
the »PVR Settings« menu.
The time shift memory has space for approx. one hour of record-
ings. If it is not opened during this time, it carries on recording the
programme and records over the beginning.
If you access the time shift memory (e.g. by pressing »
!
«) you
interrupt this cycle and the recording continues until the hard drive
is full.

1 Display for »Time shift mode«, with the name of the broadcasting
channel.
2 Display of the function selected (pause, playback, etc.).
3 Graphic display of the time shift memory – recording time
already filled.
4 Current playing position.
5 Graphic display of the time shift memory – time still available
for recording.
6 Time difference between the playing position and the current
recording. In the example, the time delay is 10 minutes and
30 seconds.
