Tuning and storing FM radio
stations after moving the de-
vice to another place
After the automatic station search, all FM radio
stations will be stored in the Preset list. That is use-
ful, if you will use the device in another place or
search for new FM radio stations.
1 Select the FM mode and simply long press the
»OK« knob on device or long press the »
« button on remote control to directly start the
AMS function for tuning the new stations.
2 The Automatic Memory Station scan function
starts and searches the FM waveband and
stores the first 30 radio stations as presets 1 to
30 (if available).
- Display: < Frequency search starts from
87.50 and stops at 108.0MHz >.
3 After the scanning process is completed, the
device starts to play the first received FM sta-
tion.
Note: All previous preset memory (P1-P30) will
be erased and overwritten by new FM radio
stations found by AMS scan.
Displaying RDS station
information
RDS (Radio Data System) is an information
system which is transmitted additionally by most
FM stations.
Notes: It may take some time before all RDS
information is available. GRUNDIG has no in-
fluence on the correctness of such information.
1 To display information on the current FM sta-
tion, short press the »INFO/MENU« button or
short press the »INFO« button repeatedly.
- Display: The following display appear in suc-
cession: The name of the radio station, radio
text (if offered), station type (PTY), the signal
strength, the frequency, mono/stereo, the cur-
rent time and date.
Selecting stored stations
1 Short press the »PRE/MEM« button to open
the preset recall menu.
- Display: < Recall from Preset Recall > with
< number: Frequency > list appears.
2 Select the desired station’s frequency you want
in list by short pressing the » « / » « button on
device or remote control and then short press
the »OK« / » « knob to confirm.
3 The device switches to the selected station.
Presetting FM radio stations
manually
In FM “now playing” screen, you can store the
current station or tune a desired FM radio station
and store it into preset memory (P1 P30). To
do this:

1 Long press the »PRE/MEM« button on device
or remote control to call up the “Save to Pre-
set” menu.
- Display: < Save to Preset > list appears.
2 Highlight one of the desired numbers (e.g. a
number with the remark “Not set”) and then
short press the »OK« / » « knob to confirm.
- Display: < Preset stored > appears briefly.
3 The screen will return to FM “now playing”
screen,.

1 In FM “now playing” screen, tune a desired
FM station by using the » « / » « button and
then short press the »OK« / » « knob to con-
firm.
2 The selected station starts playing. After this,
long press the »PRE/MEM« button on device
or remote control to call up the “Save to Pre-
set” menu.
- Display: < Save to Preset > list appears.
3 Highlight one of the desired numbers (e.g. a
