Radio traffic news
Some RDS stations broadcast additional traffic news. If a such a station is being
received, the »q« symbol appears in the display.
The EON (Enhanced Other Network) function is an additional RDS service with
which you can switch automatically to a station with traffic news.
1 When receiving an RDS station, press »TRAFFIC« on the remote control.
– Display: »
q«. If there are no traffic bulletins being broadcast, »NO TA«
appears in the display.
– »q« flashes during a traffic broadcast and the volume is somewhat
increased.
– If the station includes EON, »EON« also appears in the display.
– If the current station does not provide traffic news, EON switches automa-
tically to the traffic news of another station. After the bulletin has finished,
it switches back to the current station.
2 To quit this function, press »TRAFFIC« on the remote control.
– Display: »
q« and »EON« disappear.
