Programmtypen (PTY)

Viele Rundfunkanstalten bieten im FM-Bereich den Service der Pro-

grammtypen (PTY) an. Während einer Nachrichtensendung wird

beispielsweise die Kennung NEWS gesendet. Mit der PTY-Funktion

kann automatisch ein Sender eingestellt werden, der einen vorge-

wählten Programmtyp, z.B. POP M, anbietet. Die von einer Rund-

funk-anstalt angebotenen Programmtypen können je nach gesende-

tem Programm wechseln.
