Note: High obstacles
Remember that this type of obstacle must be at least 1
metre away from the boundary wire.
If a rm, sturdy obstacle is higher than 10 cm measured
from the surface of the lawn, the robot lawnmower will
automatically change direction when it reaches the
obstacle. If the obstruction cannot tolerate an impact,
it must be enclosed using the boundary wire, with a
distance of 30 cm all the way around the obstacle.
Boundary on slopes
The robot lawnmower can climb slopes with an incline
of up to 35%, which is equivalent to 20°. Under no
circumstances attempt to get the robot lawnmower to
run up steeper slopes.
The percentage incline is calculated as the dierence
in height in centimetres between two points with a
distance of 100 centimetres between them.

Incline: 35/100 = 35%
There are special requirements that apply when the
boundary wire is to be laid across an incline.
The upper boundary must not be placed across an
incline in excess of 35% (20°), and there must be a
distance of at least 30 cm to obstacles.
The lower boundary must not be placed across an
incline in excess of 17% (10°), and there must be a
distance of at least 60 cm to obstacles.
If the lower boundary crosses a steeper incline, there is
the risk that the robot lawnmower will slide outside the
work area if the grass is wet.
Narrow passages
The robot lawnmower can pass through a narrow
passage that is no more than 8 metres long where there
is at least 60 cm between the boundary wires.
Note!
If there is less than 60 cm between the boundary
wires, the signal may be disrupted, meaning the robot
lawnmower cannot operate correctly!
Paved paths on same level
The robot lawnmower can move over paved paths if
they are level with the lawn. The boundary wire can be
placed under the paving stones if they are no more than
5 cm thick.
If you intend to cut up to the path, the boundary wire
must be placed 10 cm from the paving stones. The
paving stones must be counted in the 30 cm.
