Before initial use, after non-using the unit for a long time or after descaling it, we
recommend to carry out 2 brewing operations for approximately 4 cups as de-
scribed in the following, but without coffee.
PREPARING COFFEE
Fill the water tank with water.
IMPORTANT!
When lling the water tank, please observe the following:
Water level indicators with 2 units of measure are located on the side. The left
unit of measure refers to a large cup (125 ml) and the right unit of measure
refers to a small cup (83 ml).
Fill the water tank to the maximum 10 / 15 cup level marking.
Open the coffee lter.
Put in one lter bag (size 1 x 4 or number 4).
Fill the coffee lter with coffee grounds.

er. You can purchase coffee grinders in our online shop www.graef.de.

10 15 10
8 12 8
6 9 6

Put the glass jug below the coffee lter. Check to see that the glass jug sits cor-
rectly below the coffee lter.

After completion of the brewing operation, the hotplate will still keep the coffee
warm for about 40 minutes.

already during the brewing operation and make yourself a cup of coffee. Once the
glass jug has been reinserted, the brewing operation will continue.
