For Your Health

❐ There may still be some production residues on the device. To avoid harmful effects

to your health, clean it thoroughly before you ﬁ rst use it (see the "Cleaning and Sto-

rage" chapter).

❐ Clean the device after each use to prevent germ formation (see the "Cleaning and

Storage" chapter). Do not allow any food residues to dry on.

Danger of Electric Shock and Fire

❐ Only connect the device to a socket that is properly installed and matches the tech-

nical data of the device (see the "Technical Data" chapter).

❐ Position the connecting cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or

bent and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.

❐ Remove the mains plug from the plug socket:

– before you attach / detach the shaker,

– when the device is not in use,

– before a thunderstorm or

– before you clean the device.

❐ When you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, always pull the plug and

never the connecting cable.

❐ Never immerse the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device, the

connecting cable and the mains plug cannot fall into water or become wet.

❐ Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately.

❐ Never touch the device, the connecting cable or the mains plug with wet hands.

❐ Never cover the device with cloths or similar objects. There is a danger of overheating!

❐ Maintain a sufﬁ cient distance from sources of heat, such as hobs or ovens.

Damage to Property and the Device

❐ Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. The device

must not be used if the device, the connecting cable, the mains plug or any of the

accessories show obvious signs of damage.

❐ If the device is broken, do not attempt to repair it yourself. If the device, the connecting

or the mains plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or customer

service department or a similarly qualiﬁ ed person in order to avoid any hazards.

❐ Use only the accessories supplied, or accessories expressly recommended by the

manufacturer. Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer.

❐ The device should only be used when it is fully assembled, undamaged, and in

working order!

❐ Never insert the blade attachment without the shaker and drinking cup into the motor

unit.

❐ Use the device only in closed rooms.
