Do not cover the device during operation to prevent a risk of re.
Proper use
Check the device for damages prior to each use. If the device, the cord or the plug exhibit
visible damages, the device may not be used. Do not use the device if it malfunctions or has
fallen down. In this case have it checked by an authorised service point.
Never attempt to repair an electrical device or connector cord yourself, rather locate the
nearest customer service centre / quali ed professional for your own safety. In the event of
damage, contact customer service.
Only use the enclosed accessories from the manufacturer. All warranty claims are forfeited
if accessories are used, which are not authorised by the manufacturer.
Do not leave the device unattended when in operation!
Ensure that children are not able to play with the device. If the device is in use and children
are nearby, make sure that the children touch neither the device or the cord.
Do not leave the device on when empty or when unattended. Do not leave the device
unattended when the fat/oil is hot.
Only use fats and oils, which are suitable for high temperatures, that is, for deep frying.
Never use cold-pressed oils or butter. Observe the manufacturers instructions on the
packaging.
ATTENTION Fire hazard! Do not over ll the frying basket!
ATTENTION Risk of burn! The device becomes very hot when in use. Be absolutely
sure that you do not come into contact with the heated parts during and after using the
device. Touch only the handles and the controls when the device is in operation or directly
after deactivating it. Only transport and/or stow the device once it has cooled off com-
pletely. Do not move the device when in use.
ATTENTION Scalding hazard due to heat, hot steam or condensed water! Be
careful when opening the device. Hot steam may be emitted when opening the device. For
this reason, keep your head and hands out of the danger zone. We also recommend using
potholders or kitchen gloves when taking the frying basket containing food out of the deep
fryer.
ATTENTION Risk of burn! If water comes into contact with hot fat, the fat may spray.
For this reason, make sure that no water or other liquids drip into the fat. Do not ll the
frying basket with any wet foods. When opening the lid and particularly when adding frozen
foods, maintain adequate distance to the device to prevent burns caused by hot spraying
fat.
If you intend to take the frying basket out of the device, be absolutely sure to place it on a
heat-resistant surface such as a trivet.
Only remove the fat or oil once it has cooled off completely.
Do not place any ammable materials or materials, which melt readily, (e.g. cardboard,
plastic, paper or candles) on or in the device.
Never immerse the device or cord in water or other liquids. If the device falls in water,
immediately disconnect the power supply.
