Explanation of symbols and signal words

Danger symbol: This symbol indicates danger of physi-

cal injury. Read the associated safety instructions

carefully, and comply with them.

WARNING

Warns of possible serious injuries and danger to

life.

CAUTION

Warns of mild to moderately severe injuries.

NOTICE Warns of material damage.

Intended use

• The product is intended for chopping food. It is not suitable for

frozen foods.

• All accessories are not suitable for use in the microwave, oven

or freezer!

• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use.

• Use the product only as described in the instruction manual.

Any other use is regarded as improper use.

■ The blades of the inserts are sharp! Use caution when handling

the product. There is a risk of cutting!

■ Use and store the product out of reach of children and animals.

■ Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with

the product.

NOTICE – risk of material and property damage

■ Protect the product from heat sources, open ﬂ ames, sub-

freezing temperatures, prolonged humidity, direct sunlight and

impacts.

■ Only use original accessories from the manufacturer so as not

to impair the functioning of the product and to prevent possible

damage.

age. If product is damaged, do not use the product but contact

Before ﬁ rst use

• Remove all packaging material and any advertising labels or

transport protection.

• Clean the product thoroughly to avoid any health hazards caused

by possible production residues.

Usage

PLEASE NOTE!

■ Only use the product if it has been assembled completely and

correctly.

1. Push the desired cutting insert completely into the cutting insert

holder.

2. Slide the release button at the bottom of the handle away from

the multi-cutter to release the two parts of the handle.

3. Place the multi-cutter on the collecting container.

4. Wash the food to be chopped and, if necessary, peel and core

it. If necessary, cut larger pieces of food in half.

5. Place the food on the cutting insert with the ﬂ at side facing

downwards.

6. Press the two parts of the handle together ﬁ rmly, and if neces-

sary also use your other hand to press them together at the

front. Do not use force!

CAUTION! Cut food only by pressing the two parts of the han-

dle together! Do not attempt to manually push food through an

insert.

7. If necessary, store the food in the collecting container with the

storage lid.

Cleaning and storage

PLEASE NOTE!

■ Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads for

cleaning. These can damage the surface.

• Disassemble all parts used.

• Rinse all used parts under warm running water, and if neces-

sary use a mild detergent or clean them in the dishwasher.

• Allow all parts to dry completely before storing the product.

• Store the product in a clean, dry place away from the sun and

that children and animals cannot access.

PLEASE NOTE: Some vegetables or fruits may discolour the

plastic parts, e.g. beetroot. This is normal and harmless and not

a warranty case.

Disposal

Dispose of packaging materials in an environmentally sound

way and take recyclables to collection facilities. If the prod-

uct should no longer be used, dispose of it in an environ-

mentally friendly way.
