CONNECTION
Check the mains voltage stated on the iron.
Unwind and straighten the power cord before use.
IMPORTANT
Never immerse the iron in water.
Check to make sure the mains socket has the
correct rating(230V/16A)..
Check if the voltage indicated on the type plate
corresponds to the local mains voltage before you
connect the appliance.
Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains
cord or the appliance itself shows visible damage,
or if the appliance has been dropped or leaks.
If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it
replaced by Gorenje, a service centre authorised
by Gorenje.
Never leave the appliance unattended when it is
connected to the mains.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children
less than 8 years of age when it is energized
cooling down or.
Never touch the surfaces of heating
appliances and other surfaces (picture 9,10)
marked with warning symbol during or just after
ironing . They will become hot during operation.
Keep children at a safe distance. There is a risk
of burning!
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they are older than 8

Never connect this appliance to an external timer
switch or remote control system in order to avoid
a hazardous situation.
Do not let the mains cord come into contact with
the hot soleplate of the iron.
Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall
socket.
Check the mains cord regularly for possible
damage.
The soleplate of the iron can become extremely
hot and may cause burns if touched.
When you have finished ironing, when you clean
the appliance, when you fill or empty the water
tank and also when you leave the iron even for a
short while: set the steam control to position 0,
put the iron on its heel and remove the mains
plug from the wall socket.
Always place and use the iron on a stable, level
and horizontal surface.
Do not put perfume, vinegar, starch, descaling
agents, ironing aids or other chemicals in the
water tank.
This appliance is intended for household use
only.
The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped,
if there are visible signs of damage or if it is
leaking.
This appliance is marked according to the European directive
2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). This guideline is the frame of a European-wide
validity of return and recycling on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment.
HOW TO FILL WATER
Fill the water tank with tap water up to the maximum
level by means of the filling cup.Do not fill the tank
beyond the MAX indication. If the tap water in your
area is very hard,we advise you to use distilled
water.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove any sticker, protective foil or plastic from
the soleplate.
Set the required ironing temperature by turning the
temperature dial to the appropriate position.
Check the laundry care label for the required ironing
temperature:
● Synthetic fabrics (e.g. acrylic, nylon, polyamide,
polyester)
●● Silk,Wool
●●● Cotton, linen
DRY IRONING
Adjust The Variable Steam Control/Self Cleaning
Knob to minimum position "" (picture 3).
Turn the Temperature Dial in clockwise direction;
select ‘●’ (1 dot), ‘●●’ (2 dots) or‘●●●’ (3 dots)
according to the recommendation of garment label.
