Maximum continuous operation of a particular hotplate is limited,

and the duration is displayed in the above chart. When the

hotplate is switched off by the safety mechanism, the indicator

displays symbols “0”, or “H” in case there is any remaining heat

left.

Example:

Set the cooking zone to power level 6 and let it operate for a

while. If the cooking zone power setting is not changed, the

safety mechanism will switch off the cooking zone after three and

a half hours.

• Each cooking zone is ﬁ tted with a cooling fan which cools the

electronic parts during cooking and continues to operate for a

few minutes after the cooking has been completed – when the

“H” symbol is lit.

• Induction cooking hob is also ﬁ tted with a built-in overheating

protection device that protects the electronic parts from

damage. The protection device operates at several levels.

When the cooking zone temperature increases considerably,

the cooking power is reduced automatically. If this is not

enough, the power of currently heated cooking zones is

reduced further or shut off entirely. In this case, “E2” will be

indicated on the display. When the hob has cooled down,

entire cooking hob power is again available.

TIMER FUNCTION

The timer can facilitate the cooking process by allowing you to

set the cooking zone operation time. It can also be used as a

minute minder.
