Use this function when switching on the appliance for the rst
time, before cleaning, and when inserting large amounts of
food (see »Freezing process«).
• Press the E key – signal light F will light up and SF will
appear on the display. The function will be deactivated after
approximately two days. It can be deactivated manually by
pressing the E key.
If the temperature is too high, the high temperature alarm will
be activated (intermittent beep); signal light D and temperature
display (-16°C) will ash.
The alarm will be switched off automatically as soon as the
temperature in the freezer drops to a level that no longer
presents spoilage hazard.
Acknowledge and turn off the acoustic alarm by pressing the C
key.
After it is acknowledged by pressing the C key, the acoustic
alarm will be re-activated every 24 hours if the temperature
in the freezer is not low enough and there is danger of food
spoilage.
• Signal light D and temperature display (reading -16°C) will
continue until the temperature in the freezer is low enough and
there is danger of food spoilage.
High temperature alarm due to power supply failure (or because
the appliance power cord has been disconnected) indicates that
the freezer temperature dropped during the power outage to a
level that poses risk of food spoilage. After the power supply is
restored, the temperature reached by the freezer is stored with
a certain time delay. In case of several consecutive outages, the
highest temperature is stored.
Acoustic alarm will be activated (intermittent beeping for ve
minutes every full hour), and the D signal light and maximum
temperature display will ash.
To acknowledge and deactivate the acoustic alarm and
maximum temperature display, press the C key.
• Signal light D and temperature display (reading -16°C) will
continue to ash until the temperature in the freezer is low
enough not to pose hazard of food spoilage.
