Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this manicure/pedicure set. It con-
tains important information on safety and handling.
Before using the manicure/pedicure set, read the user manual
carefully. This particularly applies to the safety notes. Failure to
comply with this user manual may result in severe injury or damage to the
manicure/pedicure set.
Store the user manual for further use. Make sure to include this user manual
when passing the manicure/pedicure set on to third parties.

The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the
manicure/pedicure set or on the packaging.

Proper use
The manicure/pedicure set is exclusively designed for shortening, filing and
caring for finger and toe nails as well as for removing calluses on fingertips,
toes, heels and balls of the feet. It is only intended for private use and not suit-
able for commercial purposes.
Only use the manicure/pedicure set as described in this user manual. Using it
in any other way is deemed improper and may result in damage to property or
even personal injury. The manicure/pedicure set is not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages incurred
through improper or incorrect use.

When using electrical appliances, especially when children are
present, basic safety precautions should always be followed

9. Never operate the manicure/pedicure set if it has a dam-
aged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has
been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water. Return
the manicure/pedicure set to a service center for exam-
ination and repair.
10. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap
the cord around the manicure/pedicure set.
11. Never block the air openings of the manicure/pedicure
set or place it on a soft surface such as a bed or couch,
where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air
openings free of lint, hair and the like.
12. Never use while sleeping.
13. Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
14. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) prod-
ucts are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
15. Do not use an extension cord with the manicure/pedicure set.

− Only use the power supply unit included with the pack
contents for operating the manicure/pedicure set. If the

− Do not use the manicure/pedicure set if it shows visible
damage, is damp or its connector cable or power supply
unit is defective or damp.
− Do not use the manicure/pedicure set in the bath tub,
under the shower or outdoors.
− Store the manicure/pedicure set so that there is no risk of
it falling into a tub or sink.
− Do not immerse the manicure/pedicure set, the power sup-
ply unit and the connector cable in water or other liquids.
− Never reach to retrieve an electrical device if it has fallen in
water. In this case, immediately pull the power supply unit
out of the socket.
− Keep the manicure/pedicure set, the power supply unit and
the connector cable away from open flames and hot surfaces.
− Do not kink the connector cable and do not lay it over
sharp edges.
− Make sure that the power supply unit’s connector cable is
properly laid so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
− Never use the manicure/pedicure set, the connector cable
or the power supply unit when it is damaged or has fallen
in water.
− Do not open the housing; instead, have a qualified profes-
sional perform the repairs to rule out any risks. Contact a
qualified workshop for this. Liability and warranty claims
are waived in the event of repairs performed by the user,
improper connection or incorrect operation.
− Always switch the manicure/pedicure set off and pull the
power supply unit out of the socket when you are not
using the manicure/pedicure set, when you intend to
clean it or in the event of a fault.

− This manicure/pedicure set may be used by children ages
eight and over as well as by persons with impaired phys-
ical, sensory or mental capacities or those lacking experi-
ence and knowledge if they are supervised or have been
instructed in how to safely use the manicure/pedicure set
and have understood the risks associated with using it.
Children must not play with the manicure/pedicure set.
− Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed
by unsupervised children.
− Keep children under the age of eight away from the
manicure/pedicure set, the power supply unit and
connector cable. Children do not understand the dangers
that electrical devices present.
− Do not leave the manicure/pedicure set unattended while
in operation.
− Store the manicure/pedicure so that it is not accessible for

− Do not allow children to play with the packaging wrapper.
They may get caught in it while playing and suffocate.
− The pack contents contain small parts which can be swal-

− Do not use the manicure/pedicure set in an area where
aerosol or oxygen have recently been used.
− Apply eye protection when using the manicure/pedicure set.
− Use the manicure/pedicure set in a clean environment.
NOTICE!

Improper handling of the manicure/pedicure set may damage it.
− Protect the manicure/pedicure set from impacts, extreme
temperatures and direct sunlight.
− Prevent the build-up of heat by not operating the
manicure/pedicure set under a blanket or pillow.
− Do not use the manicure/pedicure set for more than 10
minutes without a break. Afterwards, the manicure/pedi-
cure set must cool off for 10 minutes.
− Do not clean the manicure/pedicure set with hard, scour-
ing or abrasive cleaners, steel wool or similar.
− Only use the original accessories. Failure to use original
accessory parts is associated with an increased risk of
injury. No liability can be assumed for accidents or dam-
ages associated with non-original accessories. The use
of third-party accessories and resulting damages to the
device forfeits any warranty claim.
− Prevent the build-up of heat by not covering the power
supply unit.
− Only use the manicure/pedicure set in indoor areas.

− You suffer from open wounds, a rash on your fingers or toes, skin
irritation or diseases of the skin such as eczema, psoriasis etc.

sharp knife or other pointed object, you may quickly damage
the manicure/pedicure set.
− Be very careful when opening.
1. Take the manicure/pedicure set out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see fig. A).
3. Check whether the manicure/pedicure set or the individual parts exhibit dam-
ages. If this is the case, do not use the manicure/pedicure set.

CAUTION!

Handling the manicure/pedicure set improperly may result in
injury.
− Be careful when filing your nails and only do so for a short
time. Check the results by stroking over the nail surface.
− Stop filing no later than when the nail becomes warm.
− Handle your skin with care. Pay attention to reddening of
the skin and stop the application early.
− Nails could take on a “wooden” quality and turn into a
brownish-yellow color. This may be caused by excessively
tight fitting shoes, external pressure or a fungal infection,
among other things. Do not attempt to get rid of the color
by means of excessive filing as the surface of the nails
could become too thin and the nails could break.
− Ingrown nails can be very painful. Correcting ingrown nails
is a very time-consuming process and requires profes-
sional care. Ask your physician or podiatrist whether and
how you can use this manicure/pedicure set to improve
the effectiveness of the treatment you are receiving.
− Do not use the manicure/pedicure set if you are overtired.
− Do not use the manicure/pedicure set if you suffer from nail dis-
eases, inflammation of the skin or nail, wounds or skin rash etc.
− Do not use the manicure/pedicure set if you can only
insufficiently reach the areas to be treated.
Choosing the right attachment
The manicure/pedicure set comes with seven different attachments. This chapter
will summarize for you the applications for which each attachment is suited.
The 7-part attachment set, storage bag and power supply unit
can be ordered from our customer service center.

Use the manicure/pedicure set at a low speed initially until you
have become familiar with it.
Large course sapphire cylinder and fine sapphire cone

• Removal and smoothing of rough skin.
Notices for use:
− Gently move the attachment over the area to be treated.
− Wash your hands and feet only after the treatment.

− Begin at one side of the nail and slowly move the attachment towards the

There is a risk of electric shock if you connect the manicure/
pedicure set to a line voltage other than that specified on the
nameplate of the power supply unit or if you use a different
type of power supply unit.
− Only use the power supply unit provided.
− Before use, check if the socket voltage corresponds with
the specifications on the nameplate.
− Check if the drive unit is turned off and the operating/
function switch is centered before you plug the power
supply unit into the socket.

− Do not change the attachments and do not touch them
when the drive unit is switched on.
− Check if the drive unit is turned off and the operating/
function switch is centered before you plug the power
supply unit into the socket.
− After each use, switch the drive unit off and disconnect it
from the power supply.
− Pull the attachment off of the drive unit and stow all acces-
sories in the storage bag once you have cleaned them.
You can use the manicure/pedicure set with clockwise or counterclockwise
rotation depending on your personal requirements. Right- and left-handed
persons can use the manicure/pedicure set equally. You can continuously
adjust the rotational speed with the

tion switch to the right. The indicator light

will be green. The attach-
ment rotates towards the right.
• To activate the drive unit in counterclockwise rotation, slide the operat-
ing/function switch to the left. The indicator light will be red. The attach-
ment rotates towards the left.

The indicator light will go out. The attachment will cease to rotate.
8. Pull the power supply unit out of the socket after each use.
Do not apply excessive pressure during the treatment. Thus,
you will take care of the motor and the attachments and pre-
vent unpleasant heating on the treated body parts.
You will receive the best results in running the motor at full
speed and not slowing it down by adding pressure. Reduce
the pressure when the motor is excessively slowed down.
The manufacturer recommends minimizing the speed before
turning the drive unit off as the attachment will operate at the
previously set speed when turned on again.
The speed can only be changed when the drive unit is on.
The manufacturer recommends beginning the treatment
at a low speed and, if necessary, increasing it during the
treatment.

The manufacturer recommends treating more sensitive skin
areas or thinner nails at a low speed and treating thicker callus
formations and thicker nails at a higher speed.

Tips for proper use
For optimal results, please note the following tips in using the manicure/pedi-
cure set:
− Bath your hands and feet only after the treatment, not prior, because cal-
luses and nails are most effectively treated when dry.
− From time to time, interrupt your treatment and observe the results.
− Use the manicure/pedicure set for a maximum of 10 minutes and let the
drive unit cool for a minimum of 10 minutes afterwards to avoid straining the
motor.
− When treating with the cone attachments, always work the nails from top to
bottom to prevent an unpleasant raising of the nails.
− Always shorten the nails from the outside of the nail towards the tip off the nail.
− Note the tips in the chapter “Choosing the right attachment” for treatment
with the attachments.

Una instalación eléctrica defectuosa o una tensión demasiado
alta pueden producir descargas eléctricas.
− Conecte el set de manicura/pedicura solo cuando la ten-
sión de la toma de corriente coincida con los datos propor-
cionados en la placa de tipos del adaptador de red.
− Conecte el adaptador de red solo a una toma de corriente
bien accesible, para que, en caso de incidente, el set de
manicura/pedicura pueda desenchufarse rápidamente.
− Utilice solo el adaptador de red incluido en el volumen de
suministro a la hora de usar el set de manicura/pedicura.
En caso de daños en el cable de conexión o del adaptador
de red, deséchelo y reemplácelo por otro del mismo tipo.
− No utilice el set de manicura/pedicura si presenta daños
visibles, si está húmedo o si el cable de conexión o el

− Utilice solo accesorios originales. En caso de utilizar acce-
sorios no originales, aumenta el riesgo de accidente. Si se
producen accidentes o daños con accesorios no origina-
les, el fabricante queda exento de toda responsabilidad.
En caso de daños en el equipo al emplear accesorios de
terceros, queda sin validez la garantía.
− No cubra el adaptador de red para evitar que se acumule
el calor.
− Utilice el set de manicura/pedicura solo en interiores.
Pregunte a su médico si...
− tiene heridas abiertas, erupciones en los dedos de pies o
manos, irritación cutánea o enfermedades de la piel como
neurodermitis, psoriasis, etc.
− padece diabetes, tiene problemas con venas y vasos o
presenta anomalías de cicatrización.
− no está segura de si el set de manicura/pedicura es apto
para usted.

La manipulación errónea del set de manicura/pedicura puede

− Lime las uñas con cuidado y durante poco tiempo solo.
Controle el resultado tocando la superficie de las uñas.
− Deje de limar las uñas, a más tardar, cuando se calienten.
− Tenga cuidado con la piel. Si se enrojece, finalice el trata-
miento antes de tiempo.
− Las uñas pueden adquirir un tono marrón amarillento,
similar al de la madera. Las causas van desde un calzado
demasiado estrecho o el efecto de la presión exterior hasta
la aparición de hongos. No intente eliminar este color con
un limado excesivo, pues la superficie de las uñas podría
volverse demasiado fina y provocar la rotura de estas.
− Las uñas encarnadas pueden resultar muy dolorosas. La
solución suele ser lenta y precisar tratamiento profesional.
Consulte a su médico o podólogo si este set de manicura/
pedicura puede ayudarle con su tratamiento y, en tal caso,
cómo.
− No utilice el set de manicura/pedicura si está agotada.
− No emplee el set de manicura/pedicura con las uñas
enfermas, inflamación en la piel o uñas, heridas o erupcio-
nes cutáneas, etc.
− No utilice el set de manicura/pedicura si no puede llegar
bien a los puntos que desea tratar.

El set de manicura/pedicura se suministra con un set de siete cabezales
distintos. Este capítulo le explica qué cabezal está indicado para cada uso.
Se pueden solicitar el set de 7 cabezales, la bolsa de
almacenamiento y la fuente de alimentación al servicio de
atención al cliente.

8. Saque el adaptador de red de la toma de corriente tras cada uso.
No ejerza demasiada presión durante el tratamiento. Así
cuidará el motor y los cabezales, y evitará que los puntos
tratados se calienten demasiado.
Obtendrá los mejores resultados con el motor a toda velocidad
y si no lo frena mediante presión. Disminuya la presión cuando
el motor frene demasiado.
El fabricante recomienda minimizar la velocidad antes de
apagar el equipo, puesto que el cabezal gira con la última
velocidad ajustada al volverlo a encender.
La velocidad solo se puede modificar mientras está encendida
la unidad propulsora.
El fabricante recomienda iniciar el tratamiento a velocidad
baja y, dado el caso, ir subiéndola durante el tratamiento.
El fabricante recomienda tratar los puntos de piel más
sensibles o las uñas más finas a velocidad baja, y los callos más
gruesos y las uñas más gordas a mayor velocidad.

Consejos para un uso correcto
Para optimizar el resultado, tenga en cuenta las siguientes indicaciones al usar
el set de manicura/pedicura:
− Lávese las manos y los pies solo tras el tratamiento, no antes, pues los callos
y las uñas se tratan mejor cuando están secos.
− Interrumpa el tratamiento de vez en cuando y revise los resultados.
− Utilice el set de manicura/pedicura durante 10 minutos como máximo, y
deje que la unidad propulsora se enfríe al menos 10 minutos después para
evitar que se sobrecarga el motor.
− Con los accesorios cónicos, trate las uñas siempre de arriba abajo para evi-
tar que se levanten las uñas y que molesten entonces.
− Acorte las uñas siempre desde el lado exterior hacia la punta.
− Durante el tratamiento con cabezales, tenga en cuenta las indicaciones del
capítulo “Elección del cabezal correcto”.

− Apague siempre la unidad propulsora antes de la limpieza.
− Además tire siempre del adaptador de red para sacarlo

− Asegúrese de que no entre agua en el interior del set de
manicura/pedicura y/o del adaptador de red para así evi-
tar cortocircuitos al ponerlo en marcha de nuevo.
− No sumerja nunca el set de manicura/pedicura en el agua.
