– When operating a telephone from an ISDN telephone system, it is not necessary to
insert a pause between the individual digits of a number.
4.8 Programming short codes
In the telephone you can store 20 speed-dial numbers. The memory location between
1 and 10 are directed to the speed dialling name keys, press the PAGE key and then
a speed dialling name key to select a memory location between 11 and 20.
Programming short codes:
1.Lift the handset or press the loudspeaker key.
2.Press the key.
3.Enter the desired telephone number on the keypad.
4.Press the key again.
5.Press one of the speed dialling name keys between 1 and 10 to select a memory
location between 1 and 10 or press the PAGE key and then use one of the speed
dialling name keys between 1 and 10 relevant for the memory locations between
11 and 20.
6. Note the owner of the stored number on the memory card.
– If your ikarus telephone is operated from an analogue telephone system, you need to
enter the following: / exchange line / pause (key ) / complete telephone
number / / speed dialling name key or PAGE / speed dialling name key.
– The telephone number may be entered and stored directly via a telephone number
presently not needed.
4.9 Using the speed dialling memory
1.Lift the handset or press the loudspeaker key.
2.Select the party to be called on your telephone card and press the corresponding
speed dialling name key 1 ... 10. Or press the PAGE key and then the corresponding
speed dialling name key 1 ... 10.
