SPEAKER FUNCTION
a. Press SPEAKER button.
b. Dialling desired number or press one of the Speed-Dial Memory Numbers.
c. When opposite party answers, continue conversation with Speaker/Mic or lift handset for private conversation.
d. Disconnect the call by replacing the handset on On/Off Hook or press SPEAKER button once again.
e. If speaker conversation is desired after handset has been lifted from On/Off Hook, press the SPEAKER but-
ton and return the handset to the On/Off Hook.
HOLD FUNCTION
During a conversation the phone can be hold so that the remote caller isn‘t able to hear what is said.
a. Press HOLD button during conversation to put caller on hold.
b. If desired, place the handset on its receiver.
c. Lift handset or press SPEAKER button to release hold for further conversation.
d. If the handset hasn‘t been placed on its receiver, once again press HOLD button to release hold.
Your conversations partner will hear a music on hold as long as the connection is held.
REDIAL FUNCTION
After press SPEAKER button or lift the handset, press P.REDIAL button, the phone will dial automatically the phone
number which was dialled last time. In all other circumstances, the P.REDIAL button functions as PAUSE button.
Press P. REDIAL button as PAUSE to insert 3.6 seconds pause during dialling using a analogue PABX system.
a. If your IKARUS 1200 is connected to an analogue PABX system and the user is required to dial first 0 to
obtain the dial tone, a pause is required sometimes.
b. For convenience the P.REDIAL button as PAUSE can also be pressed during regular dialling, avoiding the
need to wait for the dial tone before dialling the external line.
PROGRAMMING OF SPEED-DIAL MEMORY NUMBERS
The phone can be stored 20 speed-dial memory numbers including 10 Direct Memories 1 . . . 10 and 10 Indirect
Memories M1 . . . M10.
a. Press SPEAKER button or lift the handset.
b. Press STORE button.
c. Enter desired phone number using dialling buttons.
d. Once again press STORE button.
