material damages.
This plasma screen is intended for
horizontal mounting (landscape).
Any inquiry regarding its vertical
mounting should be forwarded to the
manufacturer directly.
When placing the monitor on a table, ensure that it is not set on the edges of the
casing.
Otherwise the monitor can topple down and cause injuries to a child or adult as well as
material damages.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL 6
Important safety instructions
Ensure good ventilation for the monitor. The unit is designed
with slots in the cabinet to protect it from overheating. Do
not block these slots by any objects and do not place the
monitor on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surfaces. Do not
place it near a heat register or any other source of heat. If
the monitor is placed on a shelf or bookcase, ensure that
there is sufficient ventilation and that your follow the
mounting instructions by the manufacturer as closely as
possible. .
Us only the accessory cord designed for this appliance to
prevent shock. The power supply voltage rating of this
monitor is 100-240V AC and the supplied power cord
conforms to these voltages. Use only the power cord cords
recommended by our dealers to ensure safety and EMC
specifications. If the monitor is to be run on some other power
voltage, you must also change the cable. Please consult
your dealer.
Ground terminal
Use only a grounded or polarised plug. For your safety,
this monitor is equipped with a polarised AC plug having
one plug pin broader than the other. This plug will fit the
outlet only one way. If you cannot insert the plug fully into
the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit,
contact your electrician to replace your old outlet.
Avoid overhead power lines. An outside antenna system
should not be placed directly next to overhead power lines or
other electrical light or power circuits or places where it can fall
into such circuits or power lines. When installing an external
antenna, proceed very carefully and do not touch any power
lines or power circuits. Touching such lines can be fatal.
Unplug the monitor from the wall socket during a
thunderstorm or if the device is not to be used for a long
period and remove the antenna or the cable unit. This
will prevent damage to the appliance due to lightning and
power line surges.
