BONNE MISE AU REBUT DE VOTRE RÉFRIGÉRATEUR
L’enfermement et l’asphyxie des enfants ne sont pas
des histoires du passé. Les réfrigérateurs jetés ou
abandonnés sont toujours dangereux... même s’ils
ne doivent rester là que «quelques jours». Si vous
vous débarrassez de votre vieux réfrigérateur, suivez
les instructions suivantes pour prévenir tout
accident.
Avant de jeter votre vieux réfrigérateur ou
congélateur :
■ Enlevez les portes et jetez-les séparément.
■ Laissez les étagères montées, pour éviter que
des enfants puissent facilement tenir dans
votre réfrigérateur.
■ Si votre réfrigérateur a une serrure, cassez-la.
Réfrigérants
Tous les appareils de réfrigération contiennent des
réfrigérants qui, conformément aux lois fédérales,
doivent être enlevés avant toute élimination de
l’appareil. Si vous jetez un vieil appareil de
réfrigération, vérifiez comment procéder
auprès de la société qui est chargée de
l’élimination de cet appareil.
