1. General
Congratulation! You have bought a high quality refrigerator / freezer. All models are
under permanent quality control and naturally made in Germany. Please read the
following directions for use carefully. This will allow for a trouble free and long
lasting operation. For details of our various models regarding dimensions, gross
capacity, accessories etc. please see our price list resp. catalogues.

2.1 Installation
If possible, unwrap on spot only, remove plastic film, check completeness of
accessories and damage free delivery. Notify supplier immediately in case of any
objections.
Install refrigerator / freezer at a well ventilated, even spot. Avoid places next to heat
sources or direct sunlight. Make sure that there is a good air circulation on top of
the refrigerator / freezer. The distance between top of device and ceiling must be
at least 20 cm. Floor unevennesses may be compensated by the height
adjustable legs (100 - 150 mm).
Important: To guarantee perfect function it is essential to set up refrigerator /
freezer by means of a water level.
2.2 Putting into operation
Refrigerator / freezer should be cleaned before putting into operation - please see
chapter „cleaning and maintenance“.
Put in accessories like tray slides, wire shelves etc. acc. to required height.
Please make sure before connection that electrical current and voltage are in
accordance with the specifications on the nameplate. You will find the nameplate
on the right hand side behind the machine compartment cover (see picture 3,
page 17).
Putting into operation / connection of refrigerators with built-in cooling system.
Electrical connection has to be done over a correctly installed sealed contact
socket. We recommend connection to a separate circuit (fuse 10 A).
Putting into operation / connection of refrigerators for connection to a central
cooling system.
Electrical connection has to be done over a correctly installed sealed contact
socket. We recommend connection to a separate circuit (fuse 10 A).
All other connections like condensate drain, refrigeration lines and control leads

Technical and optical design modifications are subject to change without notice
