Refrigerators/freezers must be switched off and mains plug pulled out before
starting cleaning.
Should electronic control show the signal "HP" condenser requires cleaning
immediately (compressor protecion function).
Grease and dust at the condenser lessen the cooling capacity and rise the
running costs. Therefore - depending on fouling factor - free condenser ribs
(picture 3) with vacuum cleaner, hand-broom or brush approx. every 2 months. To
do this, the machine compartment cover has to be taken off. The cover is fastened
with a fixing screw at the bottom. Open this screw (picture 3). The cover can now
be taken off or swivelled upward. The condenser ribs are now easily accessible
for cleaning.
How to clean:
unload refrigerated goods and keep at suitable place
take out wire shelves resp. trays and tray slides
clean the in- and outside with a mild soap water and whip dry thoroughly
(once a month)
clean as well door gaskets with a mild soap water and whip dry thoroughly
(once a week)
check periodically if condensate flows unhindered through the drain pipe.
re-set tray slides and wire shelves (resp. trays). Switch on refrigerator/freezer.
When required temperature is reached, fill in goods.
