VOLTAGE SELECTIONSWITCH Before plugging the CDX-2500G into
any walloutlet, make sure thattheVOLTAGESELECTION SWITCHis set
to the propervoltage.
To changethis selection unscrew the hard plasticprotective top witha
Phillips head screwdriver.Then use a flat head screwdriver to move
the switch to the proper selection (115V or230V) .
Do not forceor twist the switch. Excessive forcemay cause damage, if
the switch does not move smoothly,contact a qualified technician.
POWER Afteryou haveproperly set the VOLTAGE LINESELECTOR
SWITCHyou may plug in the power cord of the CDX-2500G.

LINE OUTPUT JACKS Plugone end of the includedRCA cable into
LINE OUTPUT JACKSon the rear panel. Plug theotherend of the
RCA connectors into any availablelineinput jacks on yourmixer.
If you are connectingtheCDX-2500G through a reciever, youcan
plug the RCA connectorsintotheCD or AUXINPUT JACKS on your
reciever. If thereareno CD or AUXINPUTS use any line level
(not phono) inputs.
CONTROL CABLES Plug theCONTROLCABLES to each side of the
CDX-2500G be careful whenpluggingin these cables, neverforce
the cable into itssocket,makingsure that the DINconnector at the
end of the cable properly aligns with the drawingontheback of
the CDX-2500G.

FUNCTIONS:
POWER:Once youhave connected all yourcables and made sure
that the VOLTAGE SELECTION SWITCHis set correctly,you canturn
the CDX-2500G on bypressingthe POWER button, pressing the
CDX-2500G’s POWER buttona second time will turn off the unit.
DISC TRAY:The DISC TRAY iswherethe CD is held during loading,
unloading and playback, and holds both 12 cm and 8cmCD’s.
(DO NOT FORCETHE CD TRAYTO CLOSE EXCESSIVE FORCEWILL
DAMAGE THECD MECHANISM, USETHE OPENAND CLOSEBUT-
TONS)
EJECT BUTTON: Pressing the EJECT BUTTON willopenor close the
DISC TRAY, unless the CDX-2500G is in playmode,then youmust
first stop the sideyou wich to eject.
JOG WHEEL: In SEARCH MODE theJOGWHEEL can be used to
search forward or bacwards in the music track, as wellasfor fine
adjustments to a CUEpoint in PAUSEmode. In PITCHBENDmode the
JOG WHEEL will function the same as thePITCH BENDallowingyou
to speed up (FORWARD)or slowdown (REWIND) the music clock-
wise bieng (FORWARD)and counter clockwise being (REWIND).
JOG MODE BUTTON: When theJOGMODE BUTTONis illuminated
it indicates the theJOGWHEELis in SEARCHMODE, and when not
illuminated it indicates thattheJOGWHEELis in PITCH BEND
MODE.
DISPLAY: The DISPLAY shows the track number,pitch value, pitch
bend, single, continue (forcontinuous play), play/pausemodes, fast
forward/reverse modes, loop mode, reloop mode, PGM, repeat
modes,the playback display bar, and three diffirent time displays.
These times displaysare TIME ELAPSED onthetrack, TIME REMAIN-
ING on the discandand TIME REMAINING on the track. Time is
measured in minutes,seconds and frames.
PGM: Allows youto create a set playlist. To programa set list into
the CDX-2500G memory,begin by stopping the unit fromplay and
pressing PGM to begintheset list. Select a track by using the track
selection button to scantothe first track to be placed intheset list.
When you have selectedtheproper track press PGM and the
CDX-2500G will be ready to set your nextselection.Repeat the pre-
vious steps until you havecompletedyour playlist, then press play to
begin the set list.
REPEAT: Presstherepeat button once to engage 1 or repeat the
selected track. Press REPEAT again to engage ALL setting wich will
repeat all the tracks on the CD. PressREPEAT againto disengage
the repeat function
